Meghan Trainor wants a boyfriend - but her mother will only let her date a "movie star."

The 'Dear Future Husband' hitmaker is desperate to strike up a romance with someone, seeing as she hasn't been in a relationship since she was 18 years old, but her mum Kelli has high expectations.
Meghan, 22, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I haven't had a relationship since I was 18. I'm very down for it I just haven't met the right guy. My mum said, 'You've got to date a movie star or something.' So I've got to date someone in the industry who gets the work side of things."
But the blonde beauty is struggling to nab herself a love interest as she believes a lot of men are put off by her demanding career and high level of fame.
She explained: "I find with guys I've had crushes on, it's all over within a week. We'll put an Instagram picture up together and they'll get attacked by people online. I say, 'I'm sorry I didn't tell them to attack you'. But, also, it's too hard to see someone romantically as I feel like I'm always working."
And Meghan doesn't think she'll be able to find someone the traditional way because she's always surrounded by security.
She added: "I don't have guys coming up to me in the clubs, but I guess it's because I'm surrounded by my team."
