Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with Cash App to give away $1 million worth of stock as part of a new promotion dubbed ‘Investing for Hotties’.
The rapper - best known for her hit song 'Savage' and for featuring on the Cardi B chart smash 'WAP' - is keen to educate her fans about money with the promotions deal.
She said: “Me and my thriving empire, Hot Girl Enterprises, have teamed up with Cash App to teach you everything I learned on the way up about money and how you can build your own empire."
Megan, 26, will star in a series of videos which aim to inform potential investors on the basics of the stock market and why they should get involved.
In a video unveiled on Tuesday (29.06.21), she said: "“Buying stocks isn’t only for the big players. Anyone can start with as little as $1. Putting in a little money and seeing how it moves is a great way to learn about the stock market and start building up a portfolio,”
Megan - who was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine last year - was keen to remind fans that prospective users of Cash App do not have to be experts.
She said: "With Cash App, you can buy and sell small pieces of stock called fractional shares, and ease your way in nice and slow. You know what I’m talking about! And if you don’t, that’s OK, too.”
More information - including terms and conditions - can be found on the Cash App website.
