Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have a love that they “never question”.
The 50-year-old actor has gushed over his wife eight years - with whom he has Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, eight - saying that ever since they first met in 2006, he hasn’t “wanted to spend time with any other woman”.
Recalling the night he met Camila, he said: "I was like, 'Wait, just wait. Be yourself. She’ll come if she’s supposed to come. And if she doesn’t, that’s okay, you’re still a good man, McConaughey.
"That’s when she showed up, and she moved right to left in front of my eyes across that club. It was as if she was floating. And I did not say, ‘Who is that?’ I said, ‘What is that?’ And then introduced myself.”
Matthew knew Camila was the one for him the moment they met, and hasn’t looked back since.
He told People magazine: "Since that evening I have not wanted to spend time with any other woman, definitely have not wanted to sleep with anyone else. I’ve not wanted to have children with anyone else other than her. We have a love that we never question.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Gentleman’ star recently said he wants to try and convince Camila to give him eight more children.
He explained: "I remember at eight years old, it's really the only thing I ever knew I wanted to be was a dad.
"I'd like to have eight more kids, but my wife's not on the same page. I understand that. It's a lot easier for us [men]."
Matthew also said his children are his "living legacy", as he admits he wants to raise his brood to be "conscientious" and "confident".
He added: "I've got a large hand in shepherding my three children up until they're 18 and out of the house. Yeah, see if I hold on to my words in a few years. That's the thing I think I do most honourably is having three autonomous, conscientious, confident children."
