Matt Damon claims he's "useless" at fixing things.
While he is one of Hollywood's leading men, the 'Martian' star says he's not very handy around the house and wishes he had better DIY skills.
He said: "My wife and I joke about the fact that I have a big brother and my big brother can fix anything. He can build anything from scratch. I remember calling him when we were living in New York in this rental apartment, and I didn't want to put a nail in the wall to hang like, a poster. I called my brother and he was like, 'Do you have a stud sensor?' I'm like, 'What?' I'm useless."
But the 44-year-old actor is very proud that he was able to teach his teenage step-daughter, Alexa, how to drive.
The star, who raises three other daughters, Isabella, nine, Gia, seven, and Stella, four, with wife Luciana Barroso, told USA Today newspaper: "My oldest daughter just got her licence yesterday.
"She would drive last year just to school every morning. We'd get in the car and drive."
Matt feels very lucky that he and his family are able to lead a normal life away from the spotlight despite relocating to Los Angeles from New York two years ago.
He said: "I attribute a lot of it to luck. They [paparazzi] shoot me every day coming out of the gym... [but a] married guy with kids? It's not that exciting."
