Martin Kemp joked he had to appear on 'The Xtra Factor Live' in order to see his son Roman.
The Spandau Ballet singer - who has Roman, 23, as well as daughter Harley, 27, with wife Shirlie - was very proud to be quizzed by the show's digital presenter over the weekend.
He initially shared a photo of his younger self with Roman as a child and wrote: "Going to visit my boy @romankemp on the set of @XtraFactorLIVE tonight ... it's the only way I get to see him these days!"
He later tweeted a picture from the set and wrote: "Bumped into this geezer tonight @romankemp .. Man he's grown ;)
"Interviewed by my boy... now there's a first!!! (sic)"
Roman previously admitted his parents are "super proud" of his job on the show.
He said: "My parents are just super proud. My whole family are fans of the show. It's going to be very surreal for them to flick the show on they watch every week and see their son there."
And the DJ admitted he thinks ITV bosses would have liked to get his dad - who will be a judge on new BBC star search programme 'Let It Shine' on the panel.
Asked if his dad wanted him to get him a guest judging slot, he said: "No! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure ITV have been asking him quite a few times..."
And Roman also revealed judge Louis Walsh has been mocking him for his parents' past hits.
He said: "Once Louis clocked on to the fact that my parents were from a musical background, that was it. I'm never going to hear the end of that: constant renditions of Pepsie & Shirley (his mum's group) and Spandau Ballet will be coming out this year, I'm telling you."
