Marnie Simpson has accused Ricky Rayment of being "verbally abusive".
The 'Geordie Shore' star recently ended her engagement to the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' hunk following a series of rows and she's admitted he had a "very big temper" and branded her a "sl*g" when they split.
She said: "I've got a lot of friends who are boys and he didn't like that...
"He would joke and say, 'You can't wear that' but he wouldn't stop us from wearing it. But he's got a very big temper and when he gets angry he has an acid tongue.
"He wasn't physically abusive, but verbally. When we split up he called me every name under the sun and he called me a sl*g about 5,000 times. He told us he has always thought those things."
The 23-year-old star claimed she made all the effort in their relationship and Ricky rarely travelled from his Essex home to see her in Newcastle.
She said: "I felt like if I stayed with him longer than a week, he was just sick of us...
"I am [quite full-on] but he was too in the beginning. It kind of dwindled after he proposed. I can't remember the last time he came to see me in Newcastle. It's always me going to see him.
"In the two weeks between splitting and him going to Thailand, I asked him to come to Newcastle but he wouldn't. I just thought, 'Can you not put a little bit of effort in.' "
Despite her frustrations about the relationship, Marnie - who ended the engagement by text but still carries her ring everywhere with her - hasn't ruled out getting back together with Ricky.
She told new! magazine: "I still love him and have loads of respect for him.
"I'll have to spend a little time with him and if I feel unwanted again then it's obviously not going to work."
