Marlon Wayans was happy to witness Harvey Weinstein's downfall

The 52-year-old comic thinks he should have sued the disgraced producer - whose fall from grace was sparked by the #MeToo movement, leading to dozens of women accusing him of sexual misconduct before he was jailed on sexual assault charges - for stealing his family's ideas for the 'Scary Movie' franchise but ultimately got payback by witnessing the end of the movie mogul's career.

Speaking on 'Club Shay Shay', he said: “Sometimes you ain’t gotta do nothing because God’s gonna do it all — God’s revenge. When God come for you, you gotta trust God. You don’t retaliate, vengeance is mine. They took Miramax, his company… Then they had the Weinstein Co. and then all this stuff started going down with the rape allegations and they took that company too.

“I always say, they didn’t just rape and molest women, they raped [n-words] too. Molested us in them deals. They were terrible people.”

Marlon and his brother Shawn wrote 2000's 'Scary Movie', which was directed by their sibling Shawn and produced by Weinstein's Miramax, who the 'On the Rocks' actor claimed gave his family a "c****y" deal for the first installment.

The movie spawned several sequels but the Wayans brothers' relationship with the studio went downhill and by the time of the third film, the Zucker brothers were hired to direct based on ideas from Marlon and his siblings.

And Marlon - who, along with his brothers, had no involvement in the poorly-performing fourth and fifth films - has now claimed Miramax did that without their knowledge.

He said: "You can’t do Wayans s*** without the Wayans. You can try, but eventually you’re gonna lose a lot of money because what we do is special. We have 200 years of comedy between me, Shawn, Keenan, Damon, Kim. We have a lot of years of excellence of what we do. You can’t just put anybody on them....

“We [went] on, made our money. 'White Chicks' made another classic. 'Little Man' made another classic. We do our thing,”
