Mark Wright feels “forever grateful” that he has Michelle Keegan in his life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who has seen a number of family members, including his dad, Mark Sr., hospitalised with coronavirus – couldn’t be more thankful to have had his wife by his side amid the global health crisis.
He said: “I’ve learnt what is most important in life, how important health is, how important family is.
“That is the number one happiness, the love around you.
“I am just grateful that I get to have her by my side every day, to have someone I can share my life with.
“To be with Michelle during these times has been incredible, and I’m forever grateful for that.”
Mark Sr. is now home from hospital and Mark hopes his two uncles will follow him soon.
He said: “I am praying they keep making small improvements.”
The 34-year-old radio DJ is hopeful the pandemic will subside eventually and is trying to stay positive on his sister Jess’ hope that her wedding to William Lee-Kemp can go ahead as planned this year.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, he said: “There will be a light at the end of the tunnel and it seems like we are getting there.
“We all want it to happen for her and to have all our family and friends together.
“A big gathering when we can all start to be in a better place.”
Meanwhile, Mark and his brother Josh have been giving free live workout sessions via Instagram through lockdown and he’s urged as many people as possible to join in, whatever their fitness level.
He advised: “Just start lightly and move into it when your body feels ready, then as you feel you have more in the tank, go again.
“Always listen to your body.”
