Mark Wahlberg cancelled plans for him and his entourage to fly from Boston to LA on a commercial flight over fears of a terrorist attack.
The Hollywood superstar was booked on one of the flights that was ultimately flown into one of the World Trade Centers and with there currently being a heightened fear of an attack, it seems Wahlberg, 43, was unwilling to take any risks.
In 2001, Walhberg's life was spared by the fact that he instead travelled to Toronto to see the film a friend of his had helped make. On this occasion, however, he decided to book a private flight, thereby reducing his risk of being involved in a terrorist plot.
Walhberg is currently filming scenes for 'Ted 2', which is also expected to feature Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried.
Filming for the upcoming movie has kicked off in Boston and will hit cinemas on June 26, 2015 in the US and on July 10, 2015 in the UK.
The original flick, which was released in 2012, starred Mila Kunis and grossed $549 million worldwide.
