Mariah Carey celebrated her triumphant return to live television by going on a date with Bryan Tanaka.
The 'Without You' hitmaker made an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', her first since she was plagued by technical issues at her New Year's Eve gig, to perform her new single 'I Don't' live.
And the 46-year-old singer - who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon - celebrated by enjoying a sushi date with the 33-year-old choreographer before they headed out to see the Los Angeles Lakers play.
Meanwhile, Mariah previously gushed about how her boyfriend Bryan had some "amazing qualities".
She shared: "He's overall romantic. He's got a lot of amazing qualities."
However, she's not bitter about her split from James Packer - which inspired the track 'I Don't' - as she unders that "that's just the way it is" sometimes.
She added: "I think that everything is cyclical. Things come back around and people are happy and people go through things, and that's just the way it is."
It comes after Bryan confessed he had a "connection" with Mariah for months before she split from James Packer.
He admitted to fellow dancer G. Madison: "I can't believe I'm saying this right now. I'm catching some hard feelings [about] Miss Mariah. I don't know if I'm tripping, but it's been kind of going a little nuts lately man. I feel like our chemistry is not just professional, there's great chemistry professionally, but when we talk it feels like there's a connection that is more than what we've had for the past 10 years. [I wouldn't] cross that line [if it didn't] feel the way it does."
And when his pal admits Mariah is in a "tough position" because of her engagement, Bryan agrees and adds: "It's a complicated situation ... That's where I'm tripping, like she's engaged so maybe I'm really just tripping."
