Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have reportedly put their Bel Air mansion back on the market.
The couple were thought to have sold the $10 million lavish estate in recent days, but the buyer allegedly backed out of the deal on Monday (28.07.14).
A real estate source told gossip website TMZ.com that an out-of-state-buyer negotiated a deal to purchase the house, which boasts a cinema, gym, indoor basketball court, putting green and sits on three acres, but then had a change of heart.
The client didn't give a reason and simply backed out of the deal despite agreeing to buy the house for almost $3 million less than the original asking price, according to the insider.
The couple - who have three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe - bought the house for $7 million in 2009, a year after they wed, but are now planning to uproot from the West Coast permanently and live in New York City.
Nick, 33, recently revealed he doesn't want their children to follow in their famous footsteps and is hoping they pursue careers as scientists.
He said: "I don't want my kids to be on TV, that's the only thing [I don't want them to do].
"I just want them to shoot for something else, because it's already in them - like, if you wanna act, be in the school choir. [And] if you wanna sing, be in the school choir.
"A nuclear scientist - can I get one of those? Can I get a heart surgeon in the family?"
