Mariah Carey has said working on 'American Idol' was the "worst experience of (her) life".
The 45-year-old singer - who worked as a judge on season 12 of the cancelled TV talent show - was rumoured to have had a huge falling out with her former fellow judge Nicki Minaj, and has insisted she'll never even consider a reunion with the rest of the show's alumni.
When asked whether she'd reunite with her fellow 'American Idol' judges, Mariah said: "Hell, no. Absolutely not, that was the worst experience of my life. I'm not going to get into what it was, let's just say, I don't think they had any intentions of us having a good experience through that show. Putting two females against each other wasn't cool."
The 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker went on to blast the show for being "boring" and "fake" and revealed that a lot of the criticism given to contestants is made up.
In an interview with Australian KIIS FM hosts Kyle and Jackie O, Mariah said: "It's so boring and so fake. I'm sorry I just think it's... when i say it's fake... I mean like you have to make up things to say about people.
"Half the time the performances are good, you just be like 'it was good' and you feel like ending it there: 'You were really good'."
