Mariah Carey's daughter wants her diamond necklace for Christmas.
The 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' singer has two-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with husband Nick Cannon, and claims the latter has already taken a shine to the finer things in life.
She told AccessHollywood.com: "[She wants my] necklace, my diamonds.
"I said, 'This is mommy's. You know who bought this for mommy? Mommy. You know how long it took mommy to get it? A really, really long time.' "
Asked if Monroe will be receiving any jewellery of her own for Christmas, Mariah said: "She'll get some little ruby earrings or something."
The superstar singer also told how the twins are becoming aware of what the festive season means.
She added: "This is the first time they're really getting that Christmas is an event that they are going to receive gifts. Now they see the tree and they light up. They're so excited ... it's amazing for me to watch and to re-live."
However, the 43-year-old star is making sure she and Nick don't go too overboard and spoil the little ones with presents this Christmas.
She explained: "I want to do presents for the kids, but I don't want to do an enormity of presents. It's not that I don't want to, it's just that I don't think that they're going to get it [and] understand what it means this year. They need to appreciate one or two or three gifts."
