Mama June Shannon sparked speculation that she had been drinking during a recent Tik Tok Live
The 44-year-old reality star caused fans to believe she had been drinking when she was heard firing a string of expletives at apparent haters in a recent TikTok livestream but has now insisted she hasn't touched a drop of alcohol since January 2020 nor does she take drugs or smoke cigarettes.
She told TMZ: "I have been straight sober since Jan 27, 2020. I don’t do drugs, I don’t smoke cigarettes and I don’t even drink."
The former 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' star explained to the outlet that her wavering eye line during the live stream was because she was cooking dinner and constantly looking down as she concentrated on preparing her food, noting that she is blind in one eye.
Mama June - who was arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in 2019 - also undergoes weekly tests on the set of her TLC reality series 'From Not To Hot' but insists those examinations are not what is keeping her sober and that it is all her own doing.
She added: "That doesn’t keep me clean, I keep me clean."
Earlier this month, Mama June lost her daughter Anna - who died at the age of 29 following a battle with adrenal cancer - and insiders recently claimed that her loved ones had been planning to take her remains on vacation with them to Disney World in Florida over the festive period.
Sources explained that "before Anna passed, they had all spoken about spending Christmas at Disney World in Orlando, Florida" and that "the family has a small urn holding some of Anna's ashes, and they're planning on bringing it with them to the rental house ... so they feel like she is there."
