Mackenzie Crook scarred himself for the life on the set of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
The 44-year-old star - who played one-eyed pirate Ragetti in the first three films in the franchise - has revealed he has a scar on his nose from where he ran into the Black Pearl ship.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was overly keen to do all of my own stunts in those days. I sort of learnt over the years that there's really no need for me to get involved in the stunts when you just can't tell if it's a stunt double, but did I ever injure myself? I've got a scar across the bridge of my nose that I got from running into the side of the Black Pearl at full pelt."
The 'Office' actor shot the first 'Pirates' film, 'The Curse of the Black Pearl', after the first series of the comedy and has confessed it was amazing to see the differences in production teams for the two projects.
He shared to BANG Showbiz: "It's funny to think that the first one was 13 years ago. To suddenly find myself actually in the Caribbean, and we were shooting on these massive pirate ships out in the Caribbean sea, it was all for real and it's incredible to think back on that."
