Mac Miller has seemingly addressed his bitter split with Ariana Grande on his new song.
The 26-year-old rapper dropped his new track 'Self Care' at midnight on Friday (13.07.18) - the same day that the 'Break Free' hitmaker released 'God is a Woman' - and it seems their break up is still playing on his mind as he's hinted at their relationship in the lyrics.
He raps: "Well, didn't know what I was missing / Now it see a lil' different ...
"We play it cool / We know we f***ed up, yeah / You keep on sayin' you in love, so? / Tell me are you really down?"
The couple - who were together for two years - announced their split in May and shortly after it became public knowledge, Mac was busted for driving under the influence, which he also referenced in the song by saying: "That Mercedes drove me crazy, I was speedin' / Somebody save me from myself, yeah / Tell them they can take that bulls-t elsewhere."
The pair initially claimed that their conflicting work schedules had played a role in their decision to go separate ways but the 25-year-old pop star later claimed that she had dumped the 'Missed Calls' hitmaker because their relationship was "toxic."
She fumed at the time: "I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man's inability to keep his s**t together is a very major problem. (sic)"
Her outburst came after she found herself the hot topic of conversation after she jumped straight into a relationship with Pete Davidson and weeks later got engaged to him.
The pair are now making arrangements for their big day and couldn't be more in love.
