Louis Tomlinson is "fuming" after Kellogg's announced they are discontinuing Riciles.
The 25-year-old One Direction star took to Twitter after hearing the news that his favourite cereal brand is set to no longer be available to purchase after the company made the announcement.
He wrote: "@KelloggsUK what's this I'm hearing about you lot getting rid of ricicles . Fuming !! (sic)"
His tweet quickly racked up hundreds of retweets but not all of his fans were bothered about the news, but instead used it as a platform to ask about his music.
Kellogg's also replied to his message saying: "Why don't you dedicate your new single 'Miss You' to Captain Rik? (sic) [The animated figure on the box of the fan favourite cereal]"
Other celebrities also voiced their displeasure and included 'Pointless' co-presenter Richard Osman and BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker who wrote: "Ricicles to be phased out #RIP (sic)".
And Richard joked: "Gutted that Kellogg's have announced they're axing Ricicles. How will we know what the worst cereal in a Variety Pack is now? (sic)"
The breakfast staple - which was first introduced in the 1960s - will be scrapped next year as the government decided to slash sugar by 20 per cent by 2020.
Oli Morton, Kellogg UK's managing director, said: "We know we have a responsibility to continuously improve the nutrition of our food. We recognise, based on national dietary survey data, that people are eating too much sugar at breakfast and throughout the day and that people need more options, such as organic and vegan.
"That's why today we are announcing more changes to our foods so that we can continue to support people in making better choices. Our shoppers have told us that taste is still important to them so we've worked hard to ensure that our new recipes are just as delicious."
