The 23-year-old One Direction star - who split from girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder, earlier this year - has been spotted with the blonde three times, who works on fashion shoots in California, and it's been revealed that the pair are "hanging out together".
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis is mainly in LA to work on 1D's new album but he is also making sure he is having plenty of fun.
"His friend gets on with her friend, so they've all been hanging out together. He is young and single, so why not?"
It's a good thing that Louis has had Briana to have fun with, as it was reported last week that his relationship with bandmate Harry Styles' has become "strained" since his Twitter spat with former bandmate Zayn Malik .
Harry insists Louis' actions in blasting Zayn, 22, and his producer friend Naughty Boy have damaged the band's reputation, causing a lot of tension between the pair.
A source said: "Harry is very aware of 1D's reputation and doesn't like getting into any public scrapes, especially with other members of the band.
"It's fair to say his relationship with Louis has been strained for some time and the last couple of weeks hasn't helped matters."
