Travis Kelce has been spotted spending his Thanksgiving alone singing to himself.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, has made global headlines since his romance with Taylor Swift, 33, went public in September, but the pair have spent the holiday more than 4,500 miles apart as the singer has stayed in Brazil following the death of a young fan at one of her ‘Eras Tour’ gigs in the country.
TMZ said Travis cruised around the Kansas City area in his Rolls-Royce on Thursday (23.11.23) and appeared to be singing to himself during his solo outing near his new $6 million mansion.
The outlet added: “Folks who spotted Travis on the road tell us he was driving near the area of his new mansion… ya know, the one he bought for added privacy when he first started dating Taylor.
“The reason Travis is alone this holiday and not with Taylor – she’s all the way down in Brazil on the international leg of her wildly popular ‘Eras Tour’ and he’s got a football game Sunday.”
Travis kept quiet on social media and did not share how he planned to give thanks, but previously admitted he would be dining on fast food alone.
He said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast that he hosts with his fellow NFL star brother Jason Kelce, 36: “I’ll be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here.”
Jason Kelce invited his brother and co-host to celebrate the holiday in Pennsylvania with him and his three daughters before teasing Travis, 34, for being a “super picky” eater.
Meanwhile, their mum Donna Kelce, 71, told Us Weekly she will be feeding her family treats while her boys are away from home.
She admitted she’s “not a good cooker” and planned to bake cinnamon rolls instead for the holiday, adding: “They’re always my favourite, my go-to. I only can do it a couple (of) times a year because they’re so sugary. So we’ve got rolls, we have muffins, cookies, things like that.”
Donna added her loved ones will “go get a ham” as they are “not particularly fond of turkey”.
Taylor’s decision to stay in Brazil was said to be due to her feeling overwhelmed by the death of a fan last week at one of her gigs in Brazil’s blistering heat.
