Logan Paul thinks Floyd Mayweather is like a dad "who's trying to stay young".
The 26-year-old YouTuber is set to fight the former multi-weight world champion boxer in an exhibition event at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 6, but at 44 years of age, Logan thinks the outspoken sports star is simply desperate for attention and relevancy.
He said: "He's like the dad who's trying to stay young, you know what I'm saying? We get it dad, your time has passed."
At the height of his career, Floyd was he best-paid athlete in the world. But Logan claims he was underwhelmed when the two men came face-to-face during a pre-fight press conference in Miami earlier this year.
He told the 'True Geordie Podcast': "The only thing I could think was 'this is the guy? This is the larger than life, highest paid athlete in the world? The greatest boxer of our generation?'
"I was looking down going 'this is it?' It was slightly underwhelming, not a let-down but for me exciting because I really thought that I'm going to do this.
"I'm just not intimidated, not impressed."
Logan admitted the situation became personal between himself and Floyd after Jake Paul, Logan's brother, snatched a baseball cap off the head of the former Olympian at the press conference.
An animated Floyd subsequently tried to retrieve his cap and hurled insults in the direction of Jake.
Looking forward to the fight, Logan said: "He’s gonna try to make an example out of me for my little brother to see. A, f*** that. B, f*** you for threatening my family."
The YouTube star thinks Floyd has a "vendetta" against his 24-year-old brother, and he therefore thinks their upcoming bout has become "really personal".
Logan said: "He’s got this vendetta against Jake and by default, now that affects me, and that s***’s just really personal.”
