Little Mix to Perform At Brits

Little Mix and James Bay will perform at the BRIT Awards 2016.

The 'Black Magic girl group and the rocker join the line-up of artists who will be taking to the stage at The O2 in London on February 24 along with The Weeknd and Jess Glynne.

The four new acts join a bill bursting with the world's biggest music stars such as Justin Bieber, Coldplay and Adele.

Ant & Dec return to present the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on ITV, and the nominations are being announced tonight (14.01.16) at 'The BRITs Are Coming' - which will be broadcast on ITV at 10.40pm.

'Hold Back The River' singer Bay is beyond excited to be performing at the BRITs.

He posted on Twitter: "I AM PERFORMING AT THE ACTUAL BRITS. NO JOKE. THE REAL LIFE BRITS. INSANE. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Google Play Music - the official streaming and download partner for the BRITs 2016 - has revealed its predictions for who will be nominated for prizes at the ceremony.

Google Play Music has based its tips on streaming data from the service and newly announced performer Jess is predicted to get four nods in the British Breakthrough Act, British Female Solo Artist, British Single and MasterCard British Album of the Year categories.

Bay is predicted to get three nominations and Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Adele all are tipped for two.

UK artists are among the biggest in the world right now and we're looking forward to seeing if our predictions match up with the nominees when they are announced on Thursday!"

The official BRIT Awards nominations are based on votes cast by a Voting Academy, consisting of over 1,000 representatives from 15 sectors of the music industry including artists, managers, journalists, major and independent labels, publishers and retailers.

Live performances from the night will be available to stream and download from Google Play just after the awards, with all proceeds being donated to this year's official charity partners, Nordoff Robbins and the BRIT Trust.
