The girl group - who made their breakthrough after appearing on 'The X Factor' in 2011 - kicked off their 'Get Weird' tour in Cardiff, Wales, on Sunday (13.03.16) and the show featured the foursome in a variety of skimpy outfits, including lace bodsuits, latex and bust-baring leotards.

Little Mix admit they love the fact the can use their bodies to be empowered on stage, but admit many of the racy outfits have practical benefits too.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper about their wardrobe choices, Jade Thirlwall said: "We love our leotards. One, they are comfy to dance in. Two, we are sweating our t*ts off so it is a lot cooler wearing a leotard. And three, if a bloke gets his top off on stage, everyone praises him and shouts, 'Yay, they've got their top off.' Then as soon as we come on and we're in our leotards, all of a sudden there's an issue with getting your thighs out. It is liberating. We wear what we want to wear and we are still true to ourselves."

Emphasising Jade's point, Perrie Edwards told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We put on such a big show and there's a lot of dancing and it gets really hot out there. I like to feel free and have something I can move around in. Something pretty with lots of stretch in it ... We wear what we feel comfortable in. We're not overly sexy in what we do anyway. We go for sexy/cute. We'd never want to be scandalous ... I think we've got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24. We aren't going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest of our life, and parade around in little dresses and stuff, but at the same time, we are just girls."
