Lisa Vanderpump has thanked her fans for their support following the tragic passing of her brother Mark.
The 57-year-old reality star revealed over the weekend that her brother Mark Vanderpump had passed away at the age of 59, and she has now taken to social media to thank her followers for their kind words in the days since the news broke.
Posting a picture on Instagram of herself dressed in black and riding a white horse, Lisa wrote: "It's been a devastating couple of weeks... one day at a time... I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. Love Lisa xo (sic)"
Mark was found dead at his home in Gloucestershire, England, on April 30, and it has been claimed the cause of death was a suspected drug overdose.
At the time of writing it is unknown whether his death was accidental or deliberate.
Over the weekend the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star released a statement confirming the tragic news.
She said: "This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this. He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy. We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time."
For Lisa, the news came after she lost two canine friends within days of each other late last year.
In October, Lisa revealed that her pet pup Pikachu had passed away just six days after having already delivered the sad news about the loss of her pink Pomeranian Pink Dog.
She said at the time: "To even talk about that right now - having lost two of my dogs in just a few days has been unbelievable. At this time, it's difficult to do it."
