Lindsay Lohan is taking a "pause" from her relationship with Egor Tarabasov.

The 'Mean Girls' star's close pal Hofit Golan - with whom she is currently vacationing in Sardinia with - insists the couple's engagement isn't off but they are just going through "personal matters".
She said: "This vacation is amazing, it's not a single girls' getaway or a post-breakup vacation. Lindsay is taking a pause in her relationship and joined my friends and I on holiday. All relationships have ups and downs, and that is what is happening with Lindsay and Egor. They are going through personal matters, but it doesn't mean they've broken up for good. Lindsay just needed a pause."
And according to Hofit, Lindsay isn't expecting a child despite her father Michael Lohan claiming she is pregnant.
She added: "We've been doing acupuncture, massage, stretching, drinking lots of green juice, exploring caves, fishing, swimming, just doing normal things. Lindsay and I have known each other for years and she's a very close friend, she's loyal and an amazing person. It's unfortunate that other people in her life, I'm not going to name names, are confirming she's pregnant, which she's not."
Meanwhile, Hofit also revealed Lindsay is deeply sorry about her public rants on Instagram.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "She made a mistake with all of her Instagram posts ... She apologised for it ... she knows it was wrong. People think Lindsay is this really strong-headed girl, but she's normal, quiet and a loyal friend, who's working hard to get to the next chapter of her life."
