Lily Allen says her husband is comfortable with her discussing intimate details of their personal life.
The London-born singer is preparing to hit the road with material from her new album 'Sheezus' and Lily insists her other half Sam Cooper is happy for her to write songs about their marriage.
She explained: "He's quite a music person, Sam. So when I was putting the album together, he was well aware of what existed.
"And we kind of edited it down together in a lot of ways, so he doesn't mind. I mean, it's not his favourite thing, but then he knew who I was when he married me."
The 29-year-old star was also questioned on the issue of swearing in her songs, which has become more pertinent since she gave birth to two children of her own Ethel, two, and 19-month-old Marnie.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, she said: "It's interesting. I find that swearing is sometimes the best way to get a point across. And I think as long as you're not swearing to be horrible to somebody [it's fine]."
Last year, Lily admitted her latest album 'Sheezus' would be similar to her usual style but there would be a few more rude words in the lyrics.
She said: "There's some feminist vibes going on. It's the same old me with a bit of swearing going on. Good choruses, key changes here and there - that's it!"
