Liam Payne would have been a "fireman" if he hadn't found fame as a singer.
The 24-year-old musician shot to stardom when he was placed in boy band One Direction during his time on UK talent competition 'The X Factor' in 2010, but he has now admitted he would have trained as a fire fighter if his singing dream hadn't come true.
Liam made the confession when asked what his profession would be if he wasn't a singer, whilst taking part in Ellen Degeneres' 'Burning Questions' segment of her YouTube series 'Show Me More Show'.
The quick-fire round of questions also saw the 'Bedroom Floor' singer asked what is the one food he could gorge on forever.
He said: "I would say pizza, because it's just too enjoyable."
Liam was also revealed he would have loved to have been a member of 90s boy band NSYNC, as well as hoping that he could one day collaborate with rapper Jay-Z.
When asked which song title of his would best describe his love life, Liam - who has eight-month-old son Bear with his girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy - picked his debut solo single 'Strip That Down', and he admitted he splashes the most cash on his ever growing collection of footwear.
If he could give any piece of advice to his 15-year-old self, he would say "have more fun", and if he could appear on any reality show, it would be 'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood', though he doesn't think he's "angry enough" to make the cut.
Liam's secondary career choice comes after he recently admitted he struggled with his mental health whilst in the height of his One Direction fame.
He said: "I shouldn't have been able to do as many shows as we did, if I'm honest about it, if I'm brutally honest about it. Going out and putting that happy smile on my face and singing the songs, honestly, sometimes it was like putting on one of those costumes, going out there and, underneath the costume, people don't really see what's going on."
