Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson earn more money than their One Direction bandmates.

The boy band is estimated to be worth over £100 million altogether, but with Liam and Louis writing many of the bands songs and writers typically earning 9% of each tracks royalties, it’s been suggested they are earning more than there bandmates.

Liam has admitted that they are working on even more materiel.

Liam said: "Louis and I have a little partnership going on. We've been pretty keen to start writing straight away."

The 20 year old stud had revealed he's focusing on writing music so that he can maintain a career in the music industry.

He told The Sun newspaper: "I've been in the studio already, it's been going really well. Learning how to write is the best way of ensuring your career has longevity and that you have control over it."

Liam, Louis and their bandmates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, have already released three albums since coming in third place on the 'X Factor' in 2010 but Liam says their next could be their best yet.

He added: "I really think the next album is going to be a game-changer for us. I'm excited."
