Leonardo DiCaprio nearly broke his legs skydiving.
The 'Revenant' star has recalled the time he took to the sky when his main and back-up parachutes both suffered a mishap and admits it has put him off the daredevil stunt for life.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he recalled: "I jumped out of the airplane. And then my first shoot didn't open. It's tandem so somebody is on your back. So they cut that line. We started free falling towards earth. And that's when you get the eight by 10 glossies of your whole life flashing before your eyes.
"And then the second one was tangled as well and I saw all of my friends sort of popping off with, you know, their parachutes and I'm still plummeting towards planet earth. And then that was tangled for about a good, I don't know, 20, 30 seconds.
"And then he untangled it and then he told me, 'Oh you're probably going to break your legs now because we're going too fast.' So it was one of the worst experiences of my life and I'll never do it again."
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actor isn't afraid of trying anything once when it comes to his movie roles and is very brave, according to the director of 'The Revenant' Alejandro González Iñárritu.
He previously revealed: "I have never had such an easy relationship with somebody. He couldn't be more brave or more collaborative, and even encouraged me to do more things. I didn't have to convince him at all. I even had to prevent him sometimes."
