Lee Ryan has started shooting his first scenes for 'EastEnders'.
The former blue band member has been cast as bar manager Woody Woodward and it has been reported the vocalist has already joined the cast and has graced Albert Square to film his debut episodes, which are set to air next week, according to The Sun Online.
Although Lee has been pictured accompanying his co-star Shona McGarty, who portrays Whitney Dean in the longstanding soap, behind the bar at The Queen Vic pub, further details of his plot line and how he will make an entrance have remained secret.
And the 'One Love' has admitted he has been made to feel so welcomed by his colleagues, although he did know a few of the cast members before he joined the show.
Speaking previously, Lee - who announced he had been offered and accepted the role in February this year - said: "Woody is the best role I could have wished to play.
"He's a brilliant character, and it's clear he's been leading a full and colourful life. I can't wait for people to see what he's like for themselves.
"Everyone at 'EastEnders' has been so welcoming. I know some of the cast already so I'm sure we're going to have a lot of fun."
