Lee Mead has to spend Christmas away from his daughter - after he tested positive for coronavirus.

The 39-year-old star shares 10-year-old Betsy with his ex Denise Van Outen, but he won't be able to see the youngster, or his girlfriend Issy Szumniak, on Christmas Day (25.12.20) after testing positive for Covid-19, as he has to isolate for 10 days.
Lee's representative told MailOnline: "Lee Mead has been struck down with Covid and is now isolating alone for 10 days which means that he will not be in the arms of his girlfriend Issy this Christmas or able to spend time with his daughter Betsy.
"It was for the first Christmas the four of them - Lee, Betsy, Issy and her son Alfie were going to have a blended family Christmas."
Lee tested positive during the final rehearsal for pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty', shortly before it closed due to coronavirus restrictions in Buckinghamshire, south east England.
His rep added: "Lee's panto in Milton Keynes got closed last week when Buckinghamshire went into Tier 3 and he had a Covid test as he was leaving the final rehearsal and tested positive.
"He had regular tests and the one earlier in the week had been clear."
Denise - who split from the actor in 2013 after four years of marriage - recently revealed she speaks to Lee every day.
She said: "It's amazing because what I have with Lee and Betsy works so well.
"If I have to work one week and can't see her, I don't feel bad because I know Lee will be looking after her and she'll be having a great time with her dad.
"I speak to Lee daily, so I always know what's going on, and Betsy knows how loved she is by both of us.
"We even all jetted off to Dubai for a family holiday together one year. It's amazing can we do that without there being any problems."
