She shared her holiday plans on Twitter early this morning, writing: "After an amazing past few weeks it's time to put my feet up recharge, relax and breath in some fresh air."
The 27-year-old actress, who performed on the final of 'The X Factor' USA on Thursday (19.12.13), enjoyed a pre-Christmas snowboarding holiday with Cory last year before flying back to Los Angeles to celebrate with her family.
Lea recently praised her parents for helping her to cope following Cory's tragic passing and insisted she is determined to live life to the full.
She said: "I really feel like I'm still trying to figure out all of this. It's been only a few months, but my mum has experienced a lot of loss in her life and she told me at one point, there is an empowerment that comes with grief, at some point you find it."
"It's very hard but you will find it, and I think at a certain point you can choose to sort of fall from this or you can choose to rise. And that's what I'm just trying to do my best for him, because I know that that's what he would have wanted."
She added that she hopes to "make something positive for where I go in the rest of my life".
