Lea Michele enjoyed a "beautiful dinner" with friends before making her first red carpet appearance since Cory Monteith's death.
The 'Glee' star, whose boyfriend of 14 months was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, on July 13 after he overdosed on heroin and alcohol, got some moral support from the show's co-creator, Ryan Murphy, before attending the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (11.08.13).
The 26-year-old actress wrote on Twitter on Saturday night (10.08.13): "Beautiful dinner tonight at @MrRPMurphy's house... I (love) him so much.."
She also shared a picture of her place setting from the intimate gathering.
The brunette star, who returned to work on the FOX series this week, is making her first official appearance since Cory's sudden death at the awards show as it will include a special tribute to the late actor, 31.
She is expected to be joined at the ceremony by all of her castmates and Ryan.
The musical comedy 'Pitch Perfect,' starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed by 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' with nine.
Lea's co-star Darren Criss and 'Pretty Little Liars' star Lucy Hale are co-hosting the bash at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
'Glee' actress Jane Lynch recently revealed that the show's stars are all dealing with the loss of Cory in different ways.
She said: "Everybody's doing differently. You know, it's tough. Everybody had a relationship with him and we all express our grief in different ways so I'll only speak for myself.
"I love him and I honour [him], and every day I go to work, I walk by his trailer and I go, 'He should be in there.' "
