*NSYNC star Lance Bass found it hard work to find the right engagement ring to propose with.
The singer recently popped the question to his boyfriend Michael Turchin - who he has been in a relationship since December 2011 - but he had to go on a serious shopping trip to get his hands on the perfect band for the love of his life.
A source told People: "He went to three stores and couldn't find anything. He was frustrated that they don't make men's rings anywhere. He said it's impossible. The fourth store was Saks. He saw a David Yurman ring and he knew that was the one, so he bought it. He said it spoke to him."
It wasn't only the ring that Lance had trouble with.
The 34-year-old star took Michael took to the Jackson Square park in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, as he thought it would be the perfect setting to propose.
But when the couple arrived the park was closed which meant Lace had to improvise.
The source added: "They went, but it was closed. The park and gates were closed, so he got down on one knee outside of the gates and proposed. [Michael] said yes. After, they went to a karaoke bar called The Cats Meow, where all their friends gathered to celebrate."
Lance - who reunited with his *NSYNC bandmates, including Justin Timberlake, for a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last month - are set to tie the knot later this year and are said to be planning to start a family in Los Angeles where they have set up home after Lance sold his New York property.
The 'Bye Bye Bye' hitmaker announced his engagement on Sunday (01.09.13) posting a photo on his Instagram and Twitter accounts of the couple together with Michael showing off his ring.
The caption that accompanied the image read: "He said YES!! Love this man. (sic)"
