Lamar Odom will reportedly not be charged for cocaine possession.
The 36-year-old basketball star had cocaine in his system when he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel in October 2015.
But while it had previously been claimed Lamar could face prosecution for being in possession of the class A drug, and therefore was at risk of being jailed for up to four years, TMZ.com have reported that the sportsman will go free.
According to the outlet, the Nye County District Attorney, who have been dealing with the case against Lamar, have decided not to file any charges against him.
Apparently it's very rare for charges to be brought in cases where the person who consumed the drugs is hospitalised.
Following a lengthy health battle, Lamar left hospital earlier this week and was transferred to a private rehabilitation facility to continue his recovery and his family extremely positive about his progress.
Lamar's aunt JaNean Mercer told Us Weekly in a statement: "Lamar continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy. Again we thank all of you greatly, your support has been paramount in helping to uplift us during these past few difficult months."
