Kylie Minogue would still love to have a baby but knows that, at 46, it may not be a "realistic" dream.
Minogue - who battled breast cancer in 2005 - still hasn't ruled out having a family of her own but is "realistic" about the fact that may not be possible because of her age.
She told Australia's OK! magazine: "I'm still hopeful to have a family.
"But being an older woman I'm realistic, you have to think about it, you can't say you will or you won't because ultimately it isn't up to you."
The 'I Was Gonna Cancel' singer has vowed to devote her attention to her three nephews if she isn't able to have a baby of her own.
She added: "If I don't have children I will at least be able to invest that love in my nephews."
The single star, who split from Spanish model Andrés Velencoso in 2013 after five years together, previously admitted she is unsure if she is able to have children after cancer treatment.
She recently said: "Going through cancer means there's a lot of unknowns - whether you can or can't have children. Cancer doesn't happen and go away and you're done with it.
"For a woman, everyone's story is different. Here are a million different versions of a cancer story but, for me, that was something I had to being to accept back then, which is not what you want to expect."
