Kurt Russell doesn't "get" why the world loves Twitter.
The 64-year-old actor - who is the partner of Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, 70 - credits his lack of interest in social media or being in the spotlight for one of the reasons why he has been able to stay "normal" throughout his years of success.
Asked how he has been able to stay "normal" throughout his longstanding career and personal life, Kurt revealed: "I just lived my life the way I wanted to. I live in a different age to when I grew up. I have nothing to do with social media, I don't know why anybody would want to "Twitter" out their thinking. That's a part of the world I don't get, I've got an iPad I can do that. But I never was one for publicity and stuff other than doing it for a movie. And I guess my life stayed pretty relatively the same as when I started. I like acting and it's a great way to make a living."
Though the 'Hateful Eight' star isn't keen on being in the public eye, he happily opened up about the key to the success of his 32-year relationship with Goldie.
Speaking on UK TV show 'This Morning', he said: "I think the front of being together for that long a period of time is to be able to look the part on a daily basis, and probably draw from some of the meaningfulness of what a whole life means together.
"But I know fully well there are many times when Goldie would be like, 'I can't do this for one, more, second. He's driving me crazy.' "
