The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ben Cohen and would reportedly love a daughter.
A source said: "Kristina is overjoyed at the idea of becoming a mother. She has wanted a baby for years and is over-joyed. She'd especially love a little girl."
And the former rugby star is incredibly "supportive" despite being "initially shocked" that the pair would be welcoming a child so soon.
The insider added: "Ben is being as supportive as possible, but he wasn't expecting to be a dad again quite so soon.
"He was initially shocked, even though he does love Kristina. Now he's absorbed the news he's really excited."
And with Ben still finalising his split from wife Abby and the 38-year-old dancer currently in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, they haven't really had a chance to discuss the future yet.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "But he is still finalising his divorce to Abby and the financial side of their settlement. Right now, Kristina is the bread-winner, they live separately and they have a lot of things to iron-out.
"But they found out about the baby so close to her entering the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house they haven't had a chance to discuss the future in depth."
