Kristin Cavallari reunited with her estranged husband Jay Cutler over the weekend to celebrate Halloween with their children.
The ‘Very Cavallari’ star and the retired American football player separated in April this year after seven years of marriage, but on Saturday (31.10.20), they put their differences aside to spend the spooky holiday with their three children, Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and Saylor, four.
Kristin posted a sweet picture of the family in their costumes on social media, where Jay was dressed as a prisoner, and Kristin donned a cosy unicorn onesie.
Their children all had their faces covered, but one of their sons was dressed as the DJ Marshmello - who wears a marshmallow shaped mask to conceal his identity - and their daughter Saylor wore a princess dress.
Kristin captioned the snap: “Halloween 2020.”
The couple’s effort to keep their children’s faces off social media comes as Kristin recently said she’s keen to make sure her kids don’t appear on TV until they’re 18.
The 33-year-old beauty has been a reality TV star since she was 17, but has insisted she doesn’t want her children to follow in her footsteps until they’re legally adults and can make their own career decisions.
She said: “I think I would say, ‘When you’re 18, you can do whatever you want and I’ll, of course, support you,’ but I think it’s hard enough being a kid and especially now with social media. You know, I didn’t even have that pressure. I just want my kids to be kids. You have the rest of your life to be on TV or do whatever you want to do. I would really try to discourage it until they turn 18.”
Meanwhile, the ‘True Comfort’ cookbook writer previously opened up on co-parenting with Jay since their April split, and said they’re doing their best to “make the most” of the situation.
She explained: “There’s a way to do this. Obviously, it’s not what either of us wanted, but let’s make the most of it for them. I hope that they know that it’s because we love them so much.”
Kristin and the former professional footballer player reached a custody agreement in May, giving each parent 182.5 days a year with their little ones.
