Kristin Cavallari has defended her anti-vaccination stance.
'The Hills' star and her husband Jay Cutler came under fire last month for deciding not to inoculate their 19-month-old son Camden, but Kristin insists the couple are worried about the potential side effects and are just trying to make the best decision for their family.
Discussing her opinions on 'Watch What Happens Live', the pregnant star said: "Here's the thing: At the end of the day, I'm just a mom. I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid.
"There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause - asthma, allergies, ear infections, all kinds of things. And we feel like we're making the best decision for our kids."
The 27-year-old shoe designer was stunned by the "harsh" backlash she initially faced when she revealed on Fox Business show 'The Independents' that she wasn't planning to vaccinate her young son.
The reality star was also quizzed about her past on MTV's 'The Hills' by host Andy Cohen during her appearance on 'WWHL'.
Despite making a name for herself as Lauren Conrad's gossip-mongering arch nemesis on the show, Kristin admitted the catfights were all for the cameras.
She said: "No one was [actually] that big of a bitch, honestly."
