Kristen Stewart has "never been happier" in her career.
The 'Equals' star - who has just made her directing debut - has gushed about how content she feels in her job.
Speaking on The Today Show, she said: "I've never been happier. I love acting. I don't think there's a huge distinction between the two, for me. I found my next level and I'm ready to go."
And the 26-year-old actress is also very content in her personal life and insists she isn't "ashamed" of her sexuality.
She shared recently: "I'm not ashamed and I'm not confused. Things have changed. And not just with me - we're really allowed to encourage this new acceptance and be awesome.
"When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialised, so I didn't like it.
"We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, 'That's mine. You're making my relationship something that it's not.' I didn't like that. But then it changed when I started dating a girl.
"I was like, 'Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I'm not down with it or I'm ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I'm so much happier."
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old actress previously revealed it only takes her five minutes to decide if she wants to take on a particular movie role.
She shared: "I typically don't have to spend more than five minutes in a room with someone to know if I want to explore something with them ...
"I've worked recently with a lot of people I've grown up loving, which is a great thing, and I'm super lucky. It's super conducive to making good s**t, because I think I have pretty good taste! There's no formula - that's so not how you're ever gonna make anything worthwhile."
