Kourtney Kardashian’s family are “supportive” of her new romance with Travis Barker.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star and the 45-year-old musician went public with their relationship this week with a sweet Instagram post, and sources have now said the couple have the blessing of each of their families.
An insider told Us Weekly magazine: “Kourtney and Travis have been spending a lot of time together, but they’re taking their time and trying not to move too fast. No one is surprised by their relationship.
“They have big modern families [and they] both are dedicated to their kids. They come from these modern families with modern relationships. Both of their families are supportive. It’s still very new, but they are both very excited by how easy it all has been.”
Kourtney, 41, has three children - Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and six-year-old Reign – with her ex-partner Scott Disick, whilst Blink-182 drummer Travis is father to 17-year-old Landon and 15-year-old Alabama, whom he has with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
The new couple made their romance Instagram official this week when Kourtney uploaded a picture of her hand intertwined with Travis’.
Although she didn't post a caption on the snap, Travis commented with a black heart emoji.
Last month, a source claimed that Travis is "smitten" with Kourtney, after it was claimed the drummer and the Poosh founder were "officially a couple", with sources also insisting he's been in love with Kourtney for some time.
The source said: "Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple.
"They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple of months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while."
The celebrity duo sparked rumours after they both posted social media snaps from Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home.
