The former 'How Clean Is Your House' star has been locked in a number of arguments since entering the famous abode, but her husband Peter Woodburn insists that she won't be bothered if the rows have affected her popularity in the outside world as her only concern is getting paid for the show.
Asked if Kim wants to win, Peter said: "She couldn't care less. Kim isn't trying to get airtime - she just wants to get paid.
"But she'd be thrilled to bits if she won."
Peter - who has been married to Kim for 40 years - insists his wife isn't putting on an act for the cameras and admitted he sometimes has to ask her to "wind it in" when they are at home.
He told new! magazine: "She doesn't suffer fools and she always tells it as she sees it.
"Sometimes I have to tell her to wind it in a little bit but what you see is what you get.
"Kim is a lovely lady and very kind, but if somebody has a go at her or she sees someone being bullied, she'll step in and give it with both barrels.
"There are no half measures with Kim. It's either full-on love, sympathy or laughter, or if it's an argument, it's going to be a full-on, blow-your-brains-out one...
"There's no game plan. If people are nice to her, she'll be nice back."
Since entering the house, Kim has taken a dislike to Nicola McLean and Peter thinks that's because his wife can "see right through" the former glamour model.
He said: "Kim can see right through her so she got in the first blow.
"If you don't want to be destroyed by Kim, stay away or be nice. That's all it takes."
