The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who recently celebrated her one year anniversary with Kanye West - has admitted the pair are two very different people.
She said: "You can't expect me to jump up onstage and start singing - it's not what I do ... The makeover Kanye has given me is amazing."
Speaking about her husband, she added: "[Kanye] obviously moves to his own drum. He lives his life the way he wants, a really authentic life, and he was like, 'If you can't be authentic and you can't live your life, what do you have?'"
The 34-year-old beauty - who has two-year-old daughter North with the 'Bound 2' rapper - also opened up about her musical tastes as a young girl.
She shared: "As kids, we were at concerts like Michael Jackson every weekend. My first concert was Earth, Wind and Fire ...
"I still make mix CDs. I have an older computer with a disk drive so I can do it."
Whilst in high school, Kim took a liking to boy bands 'NSync and the Backstreet Boys.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: "[I was] really obsessed, though I was more of a Backstreet girl."
