Khloé Kardashian and French Montana were like "teens in love" as they left South Africa last weekend.

The couple have only been dating for a few months, but they were keen to make their new romance public as they went through security at Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Sunday (08.06.14).

A source told E! News: "They seemed happy--like teens in love. French Montana was holding her tightly and they were laughing a lot. At one point [Khloé] took [French's] hat and put it on her own head while they laughed.

"He was holding her from behind and had his arms around her whispering in her ear."

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star, 29, had joined French - whose real name is Karim Kharbouch - on the trip to South Africa to support him at the MTV Africa Music Awards on Friday (06.06.14), before the pair got up close and personal with some animals while on a relaxing safari.

However, Khloé's recent trip probably didn't go down well with her family as they are convinced the 29-year-old rapper is using the brunette beauty to boost his profile.

A source said previously: "[They] are very skeptical of him. They think he's using Khloé for fame."

Meanwhile, Khloé is still dealing with legal issues with her ex-husband Lamar Odom after she filed for divorce from him in December following four years of marriage.
