Natasha Hamilton says Kerry Katona is "not in a good place" following her split from her husband George Kay.
The Atomic Kitten singer, 33, has admitted she's reached out to her bandmate in the wake of her split from the sportsman after he allegedly assaulted her but has admitted the usually bubbly blonde, 35, isn't coping very well.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I have spoken to her via text and obviously she's going through a tough time. It's her life, it's not my place to talk about it, but she's not in a good place."
Meanwhile, George, 35, will be forced to stand before a judge next month following charges of assault by beating and unlawful possession of a stun gun disguised as a torch after Kerry allegedly sustained bruises to her face following a row at their home in Crowborough, East Sussex earlier this month.
He's set to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court in East Sussex on November 26.
Kerry recently announced her decision to divorce George, with whom she has 17-month-old daughter Dylan, after 11 months of marriage.
Kerry also has children Molly, 14, and Lilly-Sue, 12, with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, and Heidi, eight, and Max, seven, with ex-husband Mark Croft.
