Kerry Katona feels like "everything is crumbling around her".
The former Atomic Kitten singer is struggling to keep her relationship alive following a string of rows after her husband George Kay was diagnosed with Bell's palsy - a temporary paralysis of facial nerves - as his confidence has hit rock bottom.
A source said: "Doctors are saying the paralysis isn't permanent but they can't be sure how long it will last. Kerry is terrified for him, too. It's a huge weight on her shoulders - she wants to be strong for him but can't help feeling as if everything is crumbling around her."
The 34-year-old star - whose relationship with George is believed to be on the rocks - is also finding it tough because she has to deal with her five kids as well as the hunk's issues.
The source continued: "Kerry has been under a huge strain - she's looking after the five kids while also struggling to keep George's mood up, and of course she is very concerned for him. It's put pressure on her relationship. But Kerry's still very much in love with George and is praying things will get back to normal."
And adding to Kerry's stress, her mother Sue has also been struggling with her health and potentially has a fatal heart condition.
The source told Closer magazine: "Kerry feels she's been hit by one thing after another. She's worked for 15 years but sometimes feels it's amounted to nothing. The family are struggling financially and her and George are shaky. This health scare - on top of her mum's illness - has just added to their woes. But Kerry always bounces back and she's determined not to let this break her."
