Kerry Katona "had a little cry" after getting a tattoo tribute to her late aunt, Angela.
The 40-year-old star was left devastated in March when her beloved relative passed away after battling alcoholism so last week had an angel inked onto her arm as a permanent reminder of her family member, and she admitted the etching made her emotional.
She said: "I got a new tattoo last week. It’s an angel on my arm and it’s for our Angela. I was really nervous about getting it done but I love it. It made me feel very emotional and I had a little cry afterwards.
"It means Angela will always be with me as my guardian angel. I went to tattoo artist Joey Savastano at Black & Even in Tunbridge Wells and he did an ace job. It’s such an amazing tribute that will be with me forever."
Meanwhile, the former Atomic Kitten singer has joined TikTok but has enlisted the help of her teenage daughter because she doesn’t "really know how it works".
Writing in her column for new! magazine, she said: "I’ve finally given in to the TikTok hype and set up my own account. So many people were telling me to get it because it’s a good platform to have for all my businesses.
"So I’m hoping it can help with all my work stuff. To be honest, I don’t have a clue what I’m doing with it! I don’t really know how it works so I’m getting my Lilly to help me with it."
Kerry documented the process of getting her new tattoo on Instagram last week.
She said: "In aid of our Angela, I want to get an angel on my arms."
She first shared a glimpse at the stencil on her arm before the artwork was permanently inked on her body.
Kerry admitted the process was painful and took a break by singing and dancing to a song playing on the speakers "to take her mind off how much it hurts".
