Kerry Katona believes in the afterlife.
The 40-year-old star recalled seeing "white figures" during a near-death experience and admits she could relate to former 'EastEnders' actress Brooke Kinsella, who recently described how she felt her late brother Ben was watching over her during her pregnancy.
Writing in her New! magazine column, Kerry said: "That's such a lovely story and I'm a firm believer in the other side. I think her brother was 100 per cent there and looking over her."
She continued: "I've told this story before, but I remember when I was doing drugs and I had a fit. I was with my ex Mark Croft and he couldn't wake me up.
"When I eventually came to, all I could see were white figures and I had an overwhelming feeling of love. I can't explain how lovely it felt. I definitely believe in all of that."
Kerry also revealed in her column that she has become an ambassador for the charity Baby2Baby, which provides support for families in need, a cause which is close to her heart due to her own tough upbringing.
The former Atomic Kittens singer wrote: "I'm delighted to announce that I'm now an ambassador for the charity Baby2Baby, which gifts clothes and essential items to families in need.
"I'm super proud to be supporting them. It means so much to me as I was a child of poverty myself. I remember getting second-hand stuff when I was a kid and it meant the world to me."
