Kelly Clarkson has celebrated the 14th anniversary of her 'American Idol' win.
The 'Beautiful Disaster' hitmaker shot to fame after winning the talent show in 2002 and admits she is "blessed" to have been on the programme and "forever grateful" to the series for kick-starting her career.
She tweeted: "14 yrs ago 2day @AmericanIdol opened a door w/such amazing opportunities & experiences 4 me! I am 4ever grateful & blessed! #heresto14more (sic)"
Kelly's career has been on the up since she triumphed on the inaugural series in 2002, since when she has often been referred to as the "Original American Idol".
The 34-year-old star has gone on to release seven studio albums, including 2004's 'Breakaway' and 2007's 'My December'.
Kelly and her husband, Brandon Blackstock - who she married in October 2013 - have two kids together, two-year-old River Rose and four-month-old Remington.
The star always planned to have her children close together.
Speaking in 2015, she told BANG Showbiz: "After tour I want to start (trying) for the next one. It's hard being a woman and wanting kids and fitting in your career.
"I want them to be close together, because the other two are kind of close together, my stepkids."
Since giving birth to Remington - known as Remy - Kelly admitted she doesn't plan to have any more children after struggling with her pregnancies.
She said: "Oh, no, we are done. Oh good Lord, yes, I can't be pregnant again ... honestly, the first one was really rough, and I was like, 'Oh, it can't happen again,' and no it happened, like, way worse this time.
"I just get hospitalised, and I have to get fluids. It's just, like, my body was not made to be pregnant. I wish I was like the girl that ... it's beautiful, but it's not."
