Katy Perry and John Mayer enjoyed a dinner date together over the weekend, sparking rumours their romance could be back on.
After separating in February of last year, it was rumoured Katy was still dating super-producer Diplo, but it appears she could now be back with John after they ate together at a friend's home in Beverly Hills, California, before John spent the night at Katy's home.
Though the pair turned up for dinner in separate cars, a source told the Daily Mail newspaper that they were keen not to be seen with one another.
However, once the meal was over they moved onto Katy's nearby home where John remained until 4pm the next afternoon.
Enjoying an on/off relationship since 2012, a friend of Katy's claimed recently that she's happy dating Diplo and was determined to keep it low-profile.
The singer was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, and was said to "want it work" with Diplo.
Speaking to HollywoodLife.com a source explained: "Diplo is still a part of her life, but she is keeping it very, very private.
"After Russell and John, she doesn't want to have the same media storm she had with them because that took a toll on those relationships and really was a main reason for the trouble.
"They are still involved but she is being very closed off on this because she wants it to work."
